Our approach is still the same as what was stated in the beginning of this thread: we're finishing the JoJ in favor of delivering lore by other methods. We absolutely want to do more than the champion bios you get with each release. I can't give an ETA on this at all, and for that I'm sorry, but I want to clarify that this is not the end of lore--it's only the end of the JoJ as a vehicle for delivering lore and story development.
